Enter this path “C:\ProgramData\intuit\EntitlementClient\v8” in the provided window.
Delete the ECML file from the address in the search result.
Close the window, restart QuickBooks and register the item again.
Rename the Entitlement file:
Click on the Start button and choose Run.
Enter this address “C:\DocumentsandSettings\AllUsersApplication\DataIntuitEntitlementClientv2” to locate the Entitlement DataStore.ecml file.
Click OK and rename the file.
